Lenvatinib is an anti-cancer drug that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Lenvatinib is used to treat thyroid cancer. It is usually given after radioactive iodine has been tried without success. Lenvatinib is used with everolimus to treat advanced kidney cancer when other drugs have failed. Lenvatinib is used alone to treat liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. Lenvatinib is used along with pembrolizumab (Keytruda) to treat certain types of endometrial cancer (a type of uterine cancer) that has progressed and cannot be removed with surgery or radiation.
